It's Pastor Schoenfeld's last Sunday at St. James. He was ordained and installed in July 1995 after graduating seminary in the spring. It's over. The final glass of elderberry win has been poured. The insanity in the Brewster house shall be no more. In fact, the Brewster house is gone forever. The first weekend in December means...Christmas at Luther. (It's still Juletide to me.) I made plans again this year to attend with Kelly. In addition we met Blake at Mabe's for lunch. Late August is Thrivent Night with the Twins. Since Target Field was so popular last year and it was so difficult to get tickets, Thrivent made a big change: They expanded to two nights. After a full cast practice on June 29, the next time the full cast came together was July 7, one week before the parents' night/preview performance.
